Experienced Dog Groomer — Sat-Tues 2-7pm
Four-Legged Fun Zone is looking for an experienced groomer who enjoys working independently and taking pride in start-to-finish grooms in a calm, structured setting.
This is a W-2 position with a supportive, hands-off management style — ideal for a groomer who likes to manage their own day, build client relationships, and work without micromanagement.
🗓 Schedule
- Saturday–Tuesday
- Approximately 2:00–7:00 PM
- Consistent, predictable afternoon schedule
🐾 The Work (Exact Flow & Responsibilities)

- Not a high-volume or assembly-line salon — no dogs waiting in crates or kennels
- You greet the client at the front, bring the dog back to your private grooming room, and groom start-to-finish
- When the groom is complete, you return the dog to the owner, check client out, and handle rebooking before they leave
- You reset and clean your grooming space between dogs so it’s ready for the next appointment
- Hands-off management — you manage your own workflow, timing, rebooking, and room reset

- 24+ months of recent professional grooming experience
- Formal grooming training (grooming school, vocational program, or documented apprenticeship)
- Stable work history — at least 12 consecutive months at your most recent grooming position
- Able to complete full grooms independently across multiple breeds
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent in daily workflow
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for most of the shift
- Willing to complete a paid test groom
- Lives within ~15 minutes of Everett location (6628 Evergreen Way)
Compensation & Structure
- W-2 employee
- Paid for all on-site time
- Guaranteed hourly base for every hour worked
- Additional earnings through commission, tips, and performance bonuses
- Tips are 100% yours
- Referral bonus: earn 5% of what your referred clients spend in their first year
- Quarterly bonuses tied to rebooking, communication, and consistency
What This Looks Like in Practice
On days primarily consisting of larger dogs, groomers typically earn the equivalent of $55–$75 per hour, depending on dog size, services, and individual grooming pace.
Grooms are completed start-to-finish, with most dogs taking approximately 60–90 minutes, depending on coat, behavior, and services.
Because this is a part-time, start-to-finish role, effective hourly earnings vary by pace and services, rather than being a flat hourly wage.
How to Apply
