Customer Service Associate (Runner)

Everett, WA
Full Time
Entry Level

Does this sound like a typical day for you?

  • Noisy Work Environment: Noise, movement, and activity all around you—not a quiet office
  • On Your Feet All Day: Walking, turning, and moving from task to task throughout the day, rarely sitting down
  • Orders Stacking Up: Tasks coming in while you’re still working on the previous one
  • People Waiting: Keeping your cool and staying polite when the lobby or the "pass" is full
  • Someone Asking a Question: Providing an answer without losing track of the task in your hands
  • Processing payments / Checking People Out: Switching gears to handle a transaction accurately, even with a line behind
  • Cleaning up a Spill: Stopping to clean up something unexpected while everything else keeps moving
  • Noticing Something Needs Attention: Catching the "small stuff" before it becomes a big problem
  • All at the Same Time: Everything happening at once, requiring constant prioritization and adjustment

This is what a typical day looks like inside a busy dog daycare—and your role is to keep everything moving while nothing gets dropped or overlooked. If this feels natural to you, keep reading. If not, this role will feel overwhelming.

COMPENSATION

Effort and consistency are directly rewarded in this role. The more consistently you follow up, stay organized, and execute, the more you earn.

Most team members earn the equivalent of $25–$30 per hour when they meet simple daily benchmarks. Team members with strong judgment around photo and video capture—choosing moments that reassure and connect clients—often earn toward the higher end of that range.
