Before applying, please confirm you can answer “yes” to all the questions listed below:

  • Do you have two professional overnight client references? We want an experienced sitter because we’ve had inexperienced ones quit because they felt overnights were too much time away from families.
  • Do you live near our service area? Company does not compensate for travel time/commute so we are mainly interested in candidates who live in or near one of our service areas: Edmonds, Everett, Lake Stevens, Lynnwood, Mill Creek, Mountlake Terrace, Mukilteo.
  • Do you have obligations at home? Position requires you to be CONTINUOUSLY in client’s home from 5:00pm-9:00am. Family members living with you (human/pets) won’t see you during these times.
  • Do you need to make a certain amount of monthly income? We go to work when our clients request service so one month could have 7 days of overnights scheduled and the next 3-4 weeks. Also, most requests include holidays and/or weekends.
  • Do you feel comfortable living/sleeping in a client’s home? Home needs to be kept neat/tidy while clients’ away. Also, primary goal is to provide a similar routine so if pet sleeps with owner, he/she shares bed with you too.
  • Are you available to work with us for at least one year? Pets will want to develop a long-term relationship with you. As mentioned before, you can accept or reject each overnight sit that’s offered to you; however, we expect applicants to work at least one job per month.
