Four-Legged Fun Zone is a structured dog daycare where staff actively guide playgroups rather than simply supervising dogs. We’re looking for someone experienced with managing off-leash groups who also enjoys leading short group training and enrichment activities during the daycare day.
This hybrid role combines hands-on daycare work with the opportunity to lead small group training sessions as part of our growing “dog school” enrichment program. Staff who run training activities and classes have the opportunity to earn additional income beyond the base hourly rate.
What you'll do
Manage structured off-leash playgroups
Read canine body language and redirect behavior early
Lead short group training or enrichment activities during daycare
Help dogs practice impulse control, confidence, and polite social behavior
Maintain a calm, safe, and well-structured daycare environment
Requirements
At least 1 year of professional experience working with groups of unfamiliar dogs (daycare, boarding facility, shelter, etc.)
Comfortable managing off-leash groups of 8+ dogs
Strong understanding of canine body language and play dynamics
Highly desirable: experience leading group training, enrichment games, or behavior exercises
If you enjoy working with dogs in an active, structured environment and want to help build a smarter daycare where dogs learn as well as play, we’d love to meet you.
